UNITED MINERALS GROUP HOLDING PRESENTED A SKATE-PARK TO THE CITY

Among the participants of the ceremonial opening of the skate-park were Director General of UMG clay production companies Yevheniy Tsymarman, Mayor Valery Hnatenko, residents of Druzhkivka. The new sports facility is equipped with everything necessary for the training of youths engaged in extreme sports. The amount of investment has been over 500 thousand hryvnia. Yevheniy Tsymarman, Director General of UMG clay production companies: «We are opening the skate-park today as a present under the program of social partnership with the city council. In so doing, UMG fulfills its obligations to the city, despite the current situation in the region. Nowadays the company not only develops the social infrastructure of Druzhkivka, but also supports sport and active leisure. By implementing these projects, we create the conditions for the disclosure of sporting talents, for comprehensive development and achievement of our children. I would like to extend my gratitude to our employees, whose teamwork made possible the implementation of these social projects. This year we have invested more than 500 thousand hryvnia over 8 months in the implementation of social programs. I am confident that, step by step UMG will implement a lot of interesting projects that will be useful for the city and its residents. Background UMG clay production companies, Vesko Public JSC, Druzhkivka Ore Management Facility Public JSC and Ogneupornerud Private JSC, are located in the city of Druzhkivka, south-eastern Ukraine. The production capacity of clay production companies is about 4 million tons per year. The company is developing 11 quarries, where more than 100 varieties of clay are being produced. The produced clay is sold in 25 countries to the world's leading companies producing tiles, bricks, sanitary ware, refractories and other ceramic products.  United Minerals Group (UMG) is one of Ukraine’s largest holdings involved in mining and processing of mineral raw materials (white plastic clay, fluxing limestone and dolomite, microsphereі, ash and slag mixtures and other materials). UMG is part of the financial- industrial group System Capital Management (SCM). UMG employs over 4500 people. UMG plants develop 16 quarries and produce 11 million tons per year, selling 11 kinds of commodity products in 25 countries.
