The UMG Resource company, which specialises in industrial waste management, in 2016 increased its revenue from the sales of ash-slag materials by 47.5% year-over-year—up to 149 million UAH.

UMG (Ukraine) entered into an agreement with Sibelco (Belgium) for the supply of slag, which is a waste product from Ukrainian coal thermal power plants (TPPs).

Within the framework of GIFA 2015 International Foundry Trade Fair (Dusseldorf, Germany) UMG holding have showed aluminosilicate microsphere material to the attention of companies occupied in fireproof material and foundry operation businesses. It was the key event for UMG, since it determines market outlook for microsphere materials for some further years.
