The clay extraction companies of United Minerals Group recently completed the annual "Miners of the Future" educational program for Druzhkivka city schools.
Around 70 employees of United Minerals Group and clay-extracting assets together with their families participated in the volunteering event "Green City" of SCM Group on October 17.
On September 16, United Minerals Group took part in the signing of the STEM Education Coalition’s Memorandum as a partner.

Graduates and students of Kyiv universities II - IV of the course are trained in the corporate center of UMG holding. The program aims to provide practical skills and professional experience working on business projects of the company under the guidance of a mentor.

As a result of the destruction of the railway infrastructure of Dokuchayevsky flux-dolomite plant (Dokuchaevsk, Donetsk Region) the shipping of their products cannot be continued to end users. As a consequence, stoppage of plant operation led to a shortage of raw materials on the market.

On Monday, February 9, 2015 a shutdown was announced at PrJSC Dokuchayevsk Flux and Dolomite Plant (Dokuchayevsk, Donetsk region). Over the past two weeks the plant and infrastructure of the town and the surrounding area were seriously damaged as a result of military activities. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the plant workers and the civilians.
